Response to the scholarship
What is your purpose?
I have no calling, nor purpose. I am free to live, and choose my goals. And show others life isn't a burden.
What do you love, and how do (or will) your actions demonstrate this?
I love life, and everything that is part of that. That includes all emotions, both hate and happiness and all sorts of emotions and their counterparts. And it is quite simple, because they are just as much part of life as anything else. If you can love all that, then there is nothing to dislike any more. And everyday starts with a smile, or grin. I try to show all the people around me that. And even though that is hard, it usually works in a few years. And in my opinion it is better to change a few dedicated individuals who will do the same as you did, and make a cascade effect. Then trying to give people a good feeling about themselves that they are doing something good, while in fact, they don't get it, don't change, and have not improved anything about themselves at all. In a way you would delude them. Instead I put a lot of effort in a few persons, keep the change permanently, and have friends for life.
Also I love physics, which is my profession. And I am convinced that one day the developments I will produce will benefit both economy, nature and mankind. Due to smart use of science and clean forms of energy. And the best thing is, that I don't need to hope for it. I already know it is possible.
Write your ideal job description.
If I would get paid just to live? And have no financial worries? Wow, well I wouldn't need much stuff, let alone any possession. I would be travelling. I would be doing the same as I did all along. Finding dedicated people and show them what a great place life is. I would travel around the world, find those people who can reach so much more people. Statesmen, Celebrities and writers and that sort of things. And show them how beautiful life is, and show them that they can love all aspects of it. show them that no opinion in life is a bad one. No person is better or worse then somebody else. and that no moment in life should be more enjoyable then others. That everything is great, everything is a marvel and all persons are a giant world of stories and thoughts, that are all so magnificent. And then travel the world, and start that same cascade effect as I did before, but then on a global scale. I wouldn't be famous. I would just be a moment in their lives. Just a person passing by in their lives. But I could inspire them.
* so the message? I am a realist, but the rare kind that has got ideals.

I won't lie; I just found this site through a scholarship website and adored the questions it asked, so I thought I'd poke around.
I miss idealists. There are so few where I am right now. No one seems to believe that “everything is great, everything is a marvel and all persons are a giant world of stories and thoughts, that are all so magnificent.” Don't lose sight of that. You're inspiring me by being; I can only imagine who you'll inspire as time goes on.
I don't consider myself as an Idealist really. Yes, I do have Ideals, but I am more of a realist. I won't state, won't say anything if it weren't either perfectly simple to prove, or a matter of belief or definition.
I don't know where you are right now. But I guess somewhere in America. Though I was raised too with television, plentyfull of food and all the things (well not all the things, but the stuff I needed) I needed. Yes some people do lose track of the greatness of things. But that is something we lose, when we are pursuaded to believe things, that we haven't seen with our own eyes. That we were taught to assume that some beliefs are right. Like a ethnic minority gets taught, he will always be an ethnic minority. Or when a poor child will get taught they will always be poor. And when people get told that what they are today, that they can't change their lives. Then people stop seeing the greatness.
But once they see the bullshit in that, they will see it again. they will see again the splendour of the world, through the eyes of a child. But then a child, who knows the downside of things, who knows both sides. 'Sheer fun' :P
That response really spoke to me. I love the fact that you are happing living you and loving life. It is also going to be hard to compete with… better watch out!
Hmm, you make me curious, compete with what? or whom? ow wait, yeah I get it sorry :P
Yeah… I'm not going to say anything. Hey, maybe I shouldn't worry so much about competition between you and I! Just kidding - did you get that one? : )
well maybe not… MAybe you do,
Then again, 1000 dollars is only 600 euro's. which is two months rent so…
